Pros
- The defense is swarming and physical. This unit is mean and is starting to lay the lumber every week.
- Special teams blew the game open early with a big return from Jennings and a TD from Marcus Jones.
- Jaylin Hawkins might be our best blitzing defensive back since Milloy/Harrison—he gets home constantly.
- Drake Maye quietly threw for just under 300 yards, 2 TDs (one called back), and ~70% completion. Deep balls + better distribution underneath.
- Offensive line held up better than expected. Vederian Lowe played his best game (shockingly). Reminder: coaching matters—Marrone may be an underrated addition.
Cons
- Red zone woes continue. We score better from 25–30 than from the 5. Would like more 2-TE sets (Hooper + Henry).
- Second half was basically garbage time after a dominant first half.
